Ultrasonic flow meter sensor :PZT-5 serives material is the most suitable material for flow meter sensor, PZT-5 is often used as the receiver or generator element in hydrophones, accelerometers, and vibration sensors. In ultrasonic flow rate measurement a distinction is made betwen two different measuring principles: the Doppler effect and the analysis of the traveling wave time. In both cases a piezoelectric ceramic transducer positioned on th etube wall generates ultrasonic waves, which are then transmitted into the liquid diagonaly to the direction of flow.
